I was bored to tears with this horror film til the very bloody payoff in the end. This seems to be the new hotness in horror films. Just like with the #1 movie “Paranormal Activity”, 90% of this film is set-up. While some say the set-up has you on the edge of your seat, anticipating the worst, I was bored with the wait and the intentional detail with the mundane.

At least there’s one murder midway- but then wait, wait, wait til a very bloody climax and a been-there-done-that ending. At least “Paranormal Activity” had a fresh, new take and angle- though that payoff lasted, what, 3 minutes??!! Sorry, I like more jumps in my horror films.
